@Hektor, yes it’s used in a future context, in English we have similar nuances.
But the conjugation is present subjunctive.
For example in English using your sentence;
“What do you want me to do next month?”
To want is second person present and to do is in the infinitive, despite the actions taking place in the future.
In the same vein, “que quieres que yo haga el proximo mes?”
Second person present and then 1st person present subjunctive.
However I think your knowledge base is really useful. If you wanted any help with English, I’m also available!

@Elfilosofo primero vamos a desglosar la oracion
What is it that you want me to do, lo traducimos correctamente
Que es lo que TU quieres que YO haga
Alguien te esta pidiendo hacer algo en el futuro entonces buscas la conjugacion correcta
HACER = verbo

This is because hacer is in the subjuntivo Elfilosofo; so 1st and the 3rd person are the same:
Yo haga
Tu hagas
El/ella haga
You can tell by context which one it is, or you can add an a pronoun, despite it being less common

@francisco si yo digo “ que quieres que haga el proximo mes “ tu quieres decir que el proximo mes no esta indicando una accion futura, si no lo ves de esa forma se te va hacer bien dificil poder hablar con propiedad

Haga is not the conjugation for the future. It’s present subjunctive.

Conjugation of “hacer”
If you wanted to say, “What is it that you want *him* to do”, how would you conjugate “hacer”? I think it would be “haga”. If so, why is “haga” also used in this example, and shouldn’t it be conjugated differently?
