OK, Hektor, I am going to give this a try, but to your point (I think), the English cannot reflect the nuanced differences. Thus, I am showing that you can use different Spanish words that each translate roughly to “would be pleasing” reflexively in English.

Your comment in English: I would be pleased by; that would please me; I would be pleased by; that would please me; I would be pleased by; that would please me; etc. That phrase has many translations, and they didn’t hit any of them.

And to add to the over-all point of the difficulty in translation, English speakers would most likely just say, “I would like”.

Don’t agradecer and agradar have extremely similar definitions Hektor? Why can’t we use agradecer in this sense?

@Elfilosofo tienes razon y lo escribieron mal, se escribe AGRADECERIA

What I am taking from this is that “agradacería” more accurately translates to “I would be thankful”, or as English speakers often say, “I would appreciate”.

@Francisco no se puede por lo siguiente:
AGRADECER es dar las gracias osea = THANK YOU.
Mientras que:
AGRADAR es algo que te gusta algo que te complace = I PLEASE YOU – YOU PLEASE ME
Son dos palabras completamente diferentes
