First λ„ˆ is never polite! It is not commonly used with -μš” and is never used with -γ…‚λ‹ˆλ‹€, but th problem is that λ‹Ήμ‹  is not polite either. It is very formal and can be offensive if used wrong!

In Korean,it is more common to use the persons title/job or their name with either 씨 or λ‹˜ to be polite instead of using "you." Additionally, korean doesn't require a subject of the sentence IF the subject is already known, so sometimes it is more polite to just say the verb with no subject.
